How Promptvane collects, uses and protects personal data.

This policy explains what personal data Promptvane ("we", "us") collects when you visit promptvane.com or use the Promptvane app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@promptvane.com.
What we collect
- Account data. Your name, email address and sign-in details when you create an account.
- Workspace data. The websites, prompts, competitors, brand facts and content you add, and the AI answers we collect for you.
- Billing data. Plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data. Pages visited and features used, collected with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
- Free tool inputs. Domains you submit to free tools such as the AI Readiness Audit, plus a temporary IP-based rate-limit counter.
- Emails you send us and newsletter sign-ups.
How we use it
To provide and improve the service, run the AI visibility checks you configure, bill you, send product and account emails, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Promptvane, including cloud hosting, AI model and data providers that answer the prompts you track, payment processing, email delivery and analytics. They process data only on our instructions.
Retention
We keep account and workspace data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days after you close the account, except where we must keep records (for example invoices) by law. Free tool results are cached for up to 24 hours.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. Email hello@promptvane.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and we review our providers' security practices.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
